Professional Exam Achievement for 14 year old pupil, Alice Kovacs-Hawes
We are thrilled to announce that 14 year old pupil, Alice Kovacs-Hawes has gained an 'A' grade in her Advanced 2 ISTD Tap Exam. This is a most amazing achievement and we hope that you willl join us in congratulating her on her success.

The Advanced 2 ISTD Tap exam is the highest professional tap performance exam possible, and is normally taken by third year full-time dance students just prior to graduation and embarkation on a professional career. For Alice to have taken this exam at the extremely young age of 14 (compared to the average age of 19) is a phenomenal achievement. To have done so and achieved an 'A' grade - the highest mark possible, is thanks to the talent, dedication and sheer hard work of Alice, not to mention the wonderful support of her parents.

We are thrilled to announce that Lydia Bradd has won the Junior Janet Cram award at this years ISTD finals. Having progressed through the heats, Lydia joined 22 other finalists at Cecil Sharp House on May 24th 2009 to compete for the title. After participating in a gruelling class, Lydia then polished everything off with a fantastic solo performance of her dance to clinch the title.

Lydia now joins the list of many former previous winners who include dancers who've gone on to forge fantastic careers in the industry. It really is a fantastic achievement! Well done, Lydia.
